This is an ongoing photographic project about my life in Japan and interesting moments I encounter. Western media tends to be obsessed with the image of “weird Japan” which is usually grossly overstated and, I find, creates an image of Japan that does not accurately reflect the manifacied and beautiful, mundane moments of everyday life. Through this longterm project, I am hoping to show  real Japan — how I see it — and share small stories of everday life  with other people, so that, like me, they may also find inspiration through them.
